Sydney, Australia – 28 September 2026 – Southern Star Research has been named a finalist in the NSW Exporter to Asia category at the 2026 NSW Export Awards, recognising the company’s continued growth across Asia-Pacific and contribution to the New South Wales and Australian export industry.
The NSW Export Awards recognise the achievements of New South Wales businesses taking Australian expertise, products and services to international markets.
For Southern Star Research, the recognition comes during a period of continued growth across Asia-Pacific and reflects the work of our teams supporting biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with clinical trial delivery across the region.
Growing our clinical trial capabilities across Asia
Since the beginning of 2026, Southern Star Research has continued to strengthen its presence and clinical trial capabilities across Asia.
Today, Southern Star Research supports clinical development across Singapore, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan, alongside our established operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Our regional capabilities span early to late phase clinical trials, providing sponsors with access to local knowledge, experienced clinical teams and established relationships across key Asia-Pacific markets.
