Register as a Partner
This process ensures that the program remains professional, confidential and compliant, and will include some declarations on your behalf.

Complete Partner Familiarisation

Submit a Referral
When you identify a potential opportunity, submit a referral through the Partner Portal, including sponsor company information, key decision-makers, funding status, development stage, study type and phase, expected timelines, known challenges and objectives, and confirmation that the sponsor has agreed to the introduction.

Referral Review
Our team will assess the referral to ensure it is new to Southern Star Research, commercially relevant, aligned with our expertise and capabilities, and compliant with program requirements. Once approved, the referral will be formally accepted and recorded.

Introduction and Qualification
A Southern Star Research Business Development representative will contact the sponsor within three business days, introducing Southern Star Research and coordinating an initial discussion. Where appropriate, confidentiality agreements may be executed before further conversations take place.

Southern Star Research Leads the Opportunity
Following the introduction, Southern Star Research will manage all subsequent discussions, proposals, bid defences, contracting and study planning activities unless otherwise agreed.

Referral Outcome and Fee Notification
Partners will be notified when a contract has been awarded to Southern Star Research, including anticipated payment timing; or the twelve-month referral eligibility period expires.
Partner Fees
Approved partners are eligible to receive a Finder's Fee equal to 1% of Eligible Southern Star Research Service Fees.
